Universal Health Care

I just want to start out saying this is another poorly planned proposal. We don't have money for health care. I do believe people deserve good medical care, but have you read this thing??? 1st off the government is ensuring health care and the board in charge of this are not employed by the government granted some members including the "Health Choices Commissioner" are appointed by the president. Also before carrying out anything the Commissioner has to consult with a few people, if you don't believe this part check out section 143, The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Indian tribes and tribal organizations, appropriate federal agencies and state agencies. Okay, Indian tribes a little weird but the NAIC is what gets me and I'll tell you why. The NAIC sounds like who you should get to approve actions by the health commission right, hmmm not so much. It doesn't take but a few minutes of research to see who members might be looking to benefit. Quite a few of the members were major players in some insurance companies. It might be easy for them to help out their good old boys club. Hmmm, if I've got buddies that are affected by what I do and they are more than willing to line my pockets to make sure negotiations go their way it doesn't take a genius to figure out what will happen. Okay so lets give them the benefit of the doubt, they know the industry so they are equipped to act on the public's behalf.
Next problem, so I assumed, so naive of me that having a plan meant everyone could receive the same health care, wrong again according to section 1173A. This part of the bill is about electronic transactions to determine an individuals responsibility and whether the individual is eligible for specific service, physician or facility. What?!!? I thought universal health care was uh, universal. Boy am I naive.
Oh, I'm not done yet in the same section further down also proves my point about the NAIC, incentives not defined will be provided to "ease the burden for certain health care providers" What!!!!
Throughout the entire thing and I'm still reading it they use the word transparent, seems pretty transparent to me.

The Decoy

Maybe this sounds paranoid. Isn't it strange how all of a sudden we are all focused on some idiot instead of the issues that mattered to us before McCain's running mate was selected. All of a sudden the war in Iraq doesn't seem to matter to people anymore. Also I have spoken to a local business owner about how the cost of goods is about to go down and he will be upside down with the merchandise he currently has. Big newsflash everyone. The price of gas always goes down before an election. It is a way for republicans to reassure the public that they are taking care of us and not to pay attention to the current state of their financial situations. They are not taking care of us they are taking all of us for a ride. Frankly, I AM SICK OF IT!!! I understand people are dumb in masses and if you don't believe me look at the general response of people after 9/11. I'm not a moron and I know a lot of other people that are not morons. Hey the government! Quit manipulating us! I'm tired of being a pawn in your game! I'm not big on conspiracy theories generally but the past few events are blatantly obvious. We all want the war to end so you draw everyone's attention elsewhere. Well guess what I see it and so do many of my peers. If you forgot who we are then may I remind you. We are the people paying your salaries and the people that are paying for this stupid bail out. Who is going to bail me out. I'm ticked!

The Bail Out

So it happened. How is this going to change going to affect so many of us that can't pay our mortgages? Is there any relief for us? What do you do if these companies won't refinance you and you can't sell your home? Is it sorry you are sol? How about it? Is there anything out there to help us little guys?

The Debate

Who do you think won? Did anyone change who they are voting for? All I know is the more I watch the more dumbfounded I become. I have to make sure my mouth isn't hanging open when I hear some of the answers from the candidates. I have to stop watching Sarah Palin videos. I think it is a new obsession for me. Surely someone else is saying something just as dumb. Right??? Maybe she is just an easy target or maybe she really has no clue what is going on in the world around her. The same could be said about me and my terrible grammar and typos. Maybe all should comment about all the errors they find. Enough about what I think. I want to hear everyone else's opinion. I'm sure other regions of the country or economic classes are experiencing things that create a view I am not familiar with. I invite you to educate me. What is going on in your part of the country?

Everyone feel free to share your ideas here. I want to know how you plan on fixing America. This is not an invitation to be violent or talk about being violent. I want real plans. I want us to create the country we want. This is a forum to hear and be heard. We all have different beliefs. Here they are to be respected. I applaud you all that want to be heard and do something about it. All of your families came to this country for a reason. Honor those reasons. Exercise your rights. Let's Get Started

I am an American. I love what our country was founded on. I love my freedom of speech. I love the diversity of our population. I am proud of who I am and where I come from. One thing I am so excited about is getting our people involved in the process. I want America to be a democracy. But we have a few problems : complacency, helplessness, poverty and lack of education. Our people feel defeated. Coming into this election again we are faced with choosing the lesser of two evils. I don't think either are a product of Satan but seriously with all the people in this country this is these are my choices? I agree with a few key issues on both sides but these really are key issues for me. I don't want to compromise any of my values. And of the information I have what is true and what is created propaganda? I want my family to be safe and this war to be over. I have relatives that live in the middle east and a brother in-law and a cousin in the war. I want the economy to thrive. I am tired of having to work overtime just to make my late payments or working two jobs. I want a solid plan. I know on both side there are plenty of advisers and if either side really cared they would have a plan for every aspect of rebuilding our country. I have plans on how to fix the country why don't they. Don't beat around the bush give me a strait forward answer. How are you going to fix this huge mess? If anybody thinks I am just ranting and doing nothing I just want to make you aware I recently wrote a plan for the bail out and have been sending it to every senator not just my own. I am about half way through. I just wrote it yesterday. I know, maybe a little late. I am calling on everyone to try to change America. I am not suggesting rioting or threatening I am talking about letting our voices be heard. Please talk about the problems in America, vote, debate, write your senators, use the tools we have to get the country we want. I want America to be a country with good education for my family and an economy that I don't have to worry about loosing my home. Here I am, now hear me!!!
